Alison O. Gaby is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in data and machine learning. She is highly skilled in architecting data infrastructure and ETL/ELT workflows for data analysis and machine learning. Alison is currently working at DoubleVerify as a Software Engineer, Data Externalization, where she is responsible for implementing reporting platforms for internal and external use. Prior to joining DoubleVerify, Alison co-founded Care Covr, Inc. where she served as the Lead Data Scientist. At Care Covr, Alison was responsible for designing and architecting backend infrastructure to support data analysis and machine learning workloads. She also built machine learning and statistical models and devised and implemented business intelligence tools to help secure Care Covr’s future supporting working parents across the country. Alison has also worked as a Senior Developer (Team Lead) at Cogency Global Inc. where she managed a small team building tools and applications for internal team members. She worked with the Product team in developing and maintaining an extensive library of up-to-date custom web templates and dynamic PDFs for various business entity filings. She identified departmental KPIs and built analytics pipelines using SQL with data visualization and analysis using Python to confirm workflow patterns seek out areas for improvement for the team, creating reports for senior management to illustrate trends discovered in her analyses. Alison holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from Williams College. She is proficient in several technologies including Python, SQL, GCP, AWS, Neo4j, and Django. Alison is a skilled software engineer, data scientist, and research scientist with over 8 years of relevant experience. She is passionate about building machine learning and deep learning models and creating microservice applications and APIs with C# & Python.
